Saturday 4 March, 6.30pm-8pm Al Khayma, InterContinental
Children’s stories capture the imaginations of children by engaging their emotions and making them feel part of the story – and the best stories will stay with children throughout their life.
If you want to write a living and memorable children’s book, then Shaima Al Marzooqi can help you!
In this workshop you will learn the main elements of a good children’s story. You will identify the age group you want to write for and then develop the subject, characters and plot using age-appropriate language.
The tutor: Shaima AlMarzooqi is an Emirati children’s and young adult author and journalist. She has written a number of children’s books such as The New Project, Paper Trip, How Much I Love My Dad and more. Her workshops for children and adults are always well received.
