Dr. Habib Ghuloom Al Attar is an Emirati actor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in acting and directing from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Kuwait, a postgraduate diploma and master’s degree in dramatic directing from the Academy of Arts in Cairo, and a doctorate in theatre and comparative literature from the University of Manchester in Britain.
In addition to his acting career, he is a director, writer, critic, and jury member. He has worked on many theatrical, radio, television and film projects.
He is the Secretary General of the Dramatists Association, a member of the Emirates Writers Union, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Sharjah Academy of Performing Arts. Dr Al Attar has published numerous publications and studies in the field of arts and culture.
