Mohammed Alnaas is a Libyan novelist, journalist, and short story writer. He wrote short the story collection Blue Blood in 2019 and the novel Bread on the Uncle's Table in 2022, the latter of which won the 15th International Prize for Arabic Fiction.

Alnaas' literary focus delves into the socio-political history of Libyan society over the past century, writing narratives about the overlooked aspects of society incorporating research and interpretation of small details within society.
