Dr. Nadia Dabbagh is a UK-trained Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Dr. Dabbagh builds bridges across divides whether in service delivery, teaching, training, research, or policy development to benefit the community’s mental health. With experience spanning across UK and the Middle East and a decade of psychiatry service decorated with achievements at Rashid Hospital including developing and leading the Arab Board Child Psychiatry Fellowship, she is currently on the Child Psychiatry Scientific Committee for the Emirati Board Higher Training Programmes. Dr. Dabbagh has a BSc and PhD in Medical Anthropology and an MSc in Psychiatric Research. She has been nominated as Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in recognition of her contribution to psychiatry. Dr. Dabbagh has conducted voluntary work for the RCPsych in Palestine and is currently developing a national strategy for child mental health. Dr. Dabbagh is author of the book Suicide in Palestine: Narratives of Despair.
