Qasim Saudi
Qasim Saudi is a children’s poet and storyteller, short story writing coach, founder of the Let’s Write in Baghdad project, and leader of the Writing Marathon initiative to teach primary school students to write children’s short stories and launched the writing therapy initiative.

His poetry collection The Musician’s Chair won the Atheer Poetry Prize in the Sultanate of Oman in 2014. He published the children's stories, The Wax Butterfly in 2018, and The Shoe Tree in 2019, and other stories including Six Fingers, The Leg of the Rose, One Day and Four Eggs, Elephant's Feather, Why the Kangaroo Didn't Win the Marathon and Heart of the Fish. He has also written numerous articles for various Arab newspapers and magazines.
