Rami Shishan is the Head of Partnerships in the UAE United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), responsible for partnerships and resource mobilization efforts in the UAE. Through his leadership, he has built partnerships with foundations, corporations, individuals and governmental entities and developed engagement plans to strengthen the relationship with them and expand our public outreach. He launched a network of executive and philanthropic leaders from the private sector to create sustainable and long-term solutions for refugees.
Shishan was the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Communications at the Queen Rania Foundation in Jordan. Before that, he was the General Manager of LOYAC Jordan, a regional NGO aims at empowering youth for employability and serve their community. Previously, he spent many years with INJAZ/Junior Achievement Worldwide in Jordan as the Business Development Director, in which he handled partnerships, fundraising, board growth and management.
