Marcia Lynx Qualey

Marcia Lynx Qualey is the founding editor of ArabLit, ArabLit Quarterly, ArabLit Books, which is launching Samira Azzam's Out of Time, translated by Ranya Abdelrahman, at this year's festival. She is also co-host of the BULAQ podcast and writes and edits for a variety of outlets. She has a passion for Arabic YA and is the Palestine Book Award-winning translator of Sonia Nimr's Wondrous Journeys in Strange Lands, as well as the translator of Nimr’s Thunderbird trilogy.
