Ibrahim Al Marzouqi is a scriptwriter, filmmaker and crime fiction writer whose novel Valium won second place in the 2017 Emirates Novel Award. He recently published a new crime novel, Euthanasia.
Butheina Kazim is founder of Cinema Akil, programming repertory cinema programs across the UAE. Cinema Akil is a member of the Network of Arab Alternative Screens and is the only arthouse cinema in the Gulf region.
Aziz Mohammed is a Saudi author shortlisted for the 2018 IPAF for his book, The Critical Case of “K”.
