Writing poetry using classical Arabic is quite rare in the UAE. How do poets approach the Arabic language to convey their thoughts and feelings to the listener and reader? Our speakers will discuss their opinions on the importance of language and its moral and material depth in writing poetry.
Dr. Talal Aljunaibi is an Emirati poet and author. He recently published ''UAE in the Heart'', which is the first national poetry collection in UAE to be written in classical Arabic. His poetry has been translated into a number of foreign languages.
