One of the best and oft-ignored tips for aspiring writers is to actually start writing. It sounds so easy, but we all know that the struggle is real. With four books published since 2013, Annabel Kantaria has gone through the frustration herself and come out the other side, and she has 30 valuable tips to share with you on finally getting that novel started, with an opportunity to ask plenty of questions.

Annabel Kantaria is a British journalist and author. After winning the 2013 Montegrappa Writing Prize, she went on to secure a three-book contract with HQ Stories at HarperCollins – a success that was followed in 2018 by a second contract. Her books include Coming Home, The Disappearance, The One That Got Away and most recently, I Know You, which was described by Judy Finnigan as “gripping, chilling and twisted”.
