Peter Dale spent 42 years teaching secondary school Mathematics, the last 25 of them at Dubai College. His love of words together with an insatiable appetite for problem solving led him, quite naturally, to the world of cryptic crossword puzzles. He describes himself as an enthusiastic amateur rather than an expert in the field and his workshop is designed to help beginners learn some of the tricks and skills that lie behind this dark art.
