In this workshop, award winning short story author Sara Hamdan will offer an introduction to the art of storytelling for short formats, touching on character, plot and dialogue. A small group will be given a creative writing prompt and 10 minutes to write a short piece that will be critiqued together on the spot.
The tutor: Sara Hamdan is a former New York Times journalist and editor at Google. She regularly writes pieces for Conde Nast Traveller and Travel + Leisure. Sara was recently a finalist in a prestigious short story competition held by Netflix and The Evening Standard.
