The strongly worded letter – while generally associated with complaints, we’ve given a panel of incredible writers the opportunity to write a strongly worded letter of thanks instead. Come and hear masters of their craft address a writer or person in their life that left a lasting impression on them, followed by a wider conversation on the story behind their strong words.
Annabel Kantaria is an inaugural Montegrappa prize winner, she currently has four published novels, and her fifth, The House of Whispers, was published in March 2021 under the pseudonym Anna Kent. She has worked as a writer-in-residence inside Dubai Prison.
Ben Miller is an actor, director, comedian and author of five fiction books for children, as well as It’s Not Rocket Science and The Aliens are Coming! for adults. He has appeared in many hit TV series, including Bridgerton, Death in Paradise, and Professor T.
Marina Wheeler is an Anglo-Indian, London-based barrister specialising in constitutional and human rights law. She was made Queen’s Counsel in 2016 and is the author of The Lost Homestead: My Mother, Partition and the Punjab.
Mira Sethi is an actor, writer and former books editor. Her debut story collection, Are You Enjoying? is out now from Alfred A. Knopf.
