The tutor: Luigi Bonomi is a literary agent who has launched the careers of many bestselling authors. He is the founder of Luigi Bonomi Associates (LBA), which represents a variety of authors, journalists and writers including the multi-million bestselling authors, Susan Lewis, Simon Scarrow, Fern Britton, and Ben Miller – all of whom are regular top ten Sunday Times Bestsellers. Many of his authors have gone on to have their books optioned for film and television. Described by the Financial Times as ‘ a super agent with added punch’, he has been the instigator behind the writing competition at the Emirates Festival of Literature through which he personally discovered Annabelle Kantaria, Rachel Hamilton, Jessica Jarlvi, Karen Osman, Lucy Strange, Tamsin Winter, and Polly Phillips – all of whom went on to see their works published by main stream publishers.
