What is the process of making great writing…great? This panel of authors is here to unpeel the onion of their work through readings of excerpts from their books and a discussion of the craft and story behind each piece.
Avni Doshi is the author of Burnt Sugar which was shortlisted for the 2020 Booker Prize and is being translated into more than twenty languages.
Farah Ali is a Pakistani poet and short story writer based in the UAE. Her work has won numerous awards, including the Pushcart Prize in 2020. Her debut short story collection People Want to Live was published Autumn 2021.
Mira Sethi is an actor, writer and former books editor. Her debut story collection, Are You Enjoying? is out now from Alfred A. Knopf.
