The Future of Diplomacy After Covid-19: Multilateralism and the Global Pandemic examine the first year of the pandemic to identify what diplomats can learn from the world’s decidedly mixed response. In this panel, two of the book’s editors discuss their findings and what they mean for our other looming crises.

Hana Alhashimi is an Emirati member of the United Nations Secretary-General’s Internet Governance Forum Multistakeholder Advisory Group, and a former Senior Advisor in the Office of the President of the General Assembly.

Mona Ali Khalil is Director of the MAK LAW International Strategic Consulting Service, Affiliate of the Harvard Law School Program on International Law and Armed Conflict and former Senior Legal Officer in the United Nations Office of the Legal Counsel.
