Oliver Jeffers has created an interactive and entrancing picture book featuring a young girl who has never seen a ghost despite living in a haunted house. Join him to explore the intricacies of creating the book and enjoy the humour of his illustrations as the friendly phantoms elude the little girl. Will you spot them when she doesn’t? Fun for all guaranteed!
This session will also include a short Arabic reading by Dr. Farah Sarraj from Al-Futtaim Education Foundation, representing Al Hudhud Publishing and Distribution.
Oliver Jeffers is a visual artist and author who has won many major awards and whose picture books explore big issues in an accessible and humorous way. He divides his time between New York and Belfast.
