Four top authors, four tables and a handful of enthusiastic children … mix together well, and what do you get? Amazing stories with fabulous illustrations, a lively plot, captivating characters and a creative setting! This is a workshop with a difference, take care to listen out for the bell as you collaborate on producing an entertaining story or four.
Ben Miller is a bestselling author of magical tales including The Day I Fell into a Fairytale and How I Became a Dog Called Midnight. He is also an actor, director and comedian.
Christopher Edge is an award-winning author whose books have been translated into more than 20 languages and who skilfully weaves science into his exciting narratives. His latest title is Escape Room.
Onjali Q. Raúf is an award-winning children’s author, who was awarded an MBE in 2022 for her services to women’s rights and literature. Her thought-provoking novels tackle issues of today, and include The Lion Above the Door and The Boy at the Back of the Class.
Sarah McIntyre is a bestselling author-illustrator and creator of many wonderful characters including Grumpycorn. Together with Philip Reeve she is the creator of Oliver and the Seawigs and Kevin the Roly-Poly Flying Pony.
