Online friendships sound like a lot of fun! But like all the different apps and games on our phones, do we truly recognise how dangerous the above acts can be if we’re not careful?

So, what does our friend the little Jerboa have to do with the virtual world? And what happened to him? Discover more as writer Reem Al Gurg reads her book about the diary of a child living in a virtual world. The story is also available for reading in Braille for our blind friends of determination.

Reem Al Gurg is an Emirati Children’s writer and academic researcher. She holds a PhD in Health Policy and Management from the University of Bradford.  She co-wrote the story ‘Naemat Al Naama’ for Iftah Ya Simsim, the Arabic adaptation of the TV show Arabic adaptation of Sesame Street.
