Venue: Al Riwaq III, InterContinental, Dubai Festival City

Why do clothes matter in the history of things? The colours we wear, the cut, the fashionable versus the comfortable; are these choices made independently or are lingering influences persuading us over the years? In her latest book, Alexandra Schulman explores her time as the editor of Vogue, interspersed with her incisive social observations and her research in the etymology of clothes. Join Alexandra for a fun and educational journey into her world of fashion as she talks all things vogue and style.

Alexandra Shulman is the longest serving Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue, and she has published fiction and non-fiction. Clothes…and Other Things that Matter is her latest book about her former years as Vogue’s editor.
