Professor Heather McGregor is the Provost and Vice Principal of Heriot-Watt University Dubai and the former Executive Dean of the Edinburgh Business School. Professor McGregor is an experienced writer and broadcaster in the UK and Australia. She wrote under the pseudonym Mrs Moneypenny for the Financial Times for 17 years, has been a columnist in the Times, the Sunday Times, Financial News, and the Australian Women’s Weekly, and has written features for the Daily Mail and the Observer, the Spectator and the Field among other periodicals. She presented her own TV series on personal finance, Superscrimpers from 2011-2014. She is the author of nine non-fiction books; her best-selling book, Careers Advice for Ambitious Women has been translated into multiple languages.
