An inspiring session for young people to make informed decisions about their careers, as well as for anyone working in Education and with young people. The panelists will discuss the importance of building skills versus a focus on degrees, STEM engagement and empowering the next generation of regional environmental leaders in shaping their future.
Captain Dr Abdulla Bin Ahmad AlShaikh is the Head of the Diplomatic and Consular Affairs at Dubai Police. Dr AlShaikh simultaneously serves as the President of the Dubai Youth Council for the Federal Youth Authority.
Isobel Abulhoul came to Dubai in 1968 and co-founded Magrudy’s, a bookshop chain, in 1975. In 2008, Isobel founded the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature. In 2019, Isobel was named one of the 100 Inspiring Leaders in the GCC by Arabian Business magazine.
HE Saeed Al Nazari is the Director General of the Federal Youth Authority, and Chief Strategy Officer at the Arab Youth Center.
Dr Tiffany Delport is the Co-CEO Environmental Operations and Educational Partnerships – MENA, Co-Founder The Possibilities Project: Eco Edition, Global Ambassador One Billion Tree-Planting Initiative.
