NASA astronaut Nicole Stott, one of the fortunate few to have seen Earth from space, has also enjoyed an even more significant privilege – participating in one of humanity’s greatest cooperative ventures on the International Space Station. The lessons she learned from this experience form the basis of her book Back to Earth, distilled into seven principles that each of us can us to contribute to protect our planetary home. Nicole Stott is a NASA astronaut and author of Back to Earth: What Life in Space Taught Me About Our Home Planet – and Our Mission to Protect It. During her time with NASA she lived and worked in space for 104 days on the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle, and spent 18 days under water in the Aquarius undersea laboratory.
Hazzaa AlMansoori spent eight days on the ISS. He was previously a UAE Air Force pilot and has flown many aircraft, including F16s.
