Ragnar Jónasson

Ragnar Jonassan is the award-winning author of the international bestselling Dark Iceland series and the Hidden Iceland series. From the age of 17, he translated 14 Agatha Christie novels into Icelandic. Jónasson is the cofounder of the Iceland Noir Festival, which is Reykjavik’s first and only international crime fiction festival. He currently resides in Reykjavik, where he works as a corporate lawyer, and teaches copyright law at Reykjavik University.
