Producer, writer & poet, Mohammed Anis is considered one of the longest video archivers of the local spoken word scene. Though discreet as an artist, he was among the UAE’s poetry delegates at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington D.C. where he taught writing workshops, performed his works and was awarded the 2022 Smithsonian Folklife Slam Championship.
One of the oldest members of Rooftop Rhythms, Anis remains an active supporter of the UAE’s homegrown talents.
